This is my favorite quote from "Looking for Alaska" by John Green. Finding a good book and getting lost in it is the best feeling and I use the Goodreads website to recommend books based on others that I have loved.
I like to use Goodreads site to keep track of the books I've read and to rate them. Goodreads will also send a monthly email letting me know when my favorite authors have released new books!
I recently read "All The Missing Girls" by Megan Miranda. It was told backwards, which I did find a bit hard to follow, but it was a really good story about a missing girl in a small town. Other similar books I have really enjoyed are "Gone Girl" and "The Girl on the Train."
I also read "Grey" after seeing Fifty Shades Darker in theaters. I really liked that it was told from Christian's point of view. Guilty pleasure, don't judge :)
The last book I read recently was "My Heart Can't Even Believe It: A Story of Science, Love and Down Syndrome" by Amy Silverman. Written by Amy about her daughter Sophie, who has down syndrome, this book made me laugh, cry and feel such respect and love for Sophie, her mom and her whole family. Though this was a great book, my favorite book about Down Syndrome is "An Uncomplicated Life" by Paul Daugherty. That book taught me so much about Down Syndrome and love and I think everyone should read it at some point in their life.
Do you have any recemmondations or recent books you have loved? Let me know in the comments!
